追悼
海外滞在のためお伺いすることが叶わなかった「佐藤剛さんを偲ぶ会」でしたが、主催者の方々より、氏の軌跡を編まれた冊子をお送り頂きました。拝読し、自分が幼少の頃からいかにその活動に感化されてきたか痛感しています。佐藤さんからお誘いをいただいたり、あるいは僕からご相談したり、いくつかのお仕事をご一緒できた機会は本当に掛け替えのない経験になりました。あらためて感謝と哀悼の意をお伝えいたします。

Flying west from Tokyo Haneda Airport, depending on my destination, I can clearly see my house at the foot of the Miura Peninsula from my cabin window.
Some routes seem to fly directly over my house.
Today I watched the plane fly over from the roof.
It felt like another me was looking down from the window of that plane.
A beautiful autumn sky.
羽田空港から西に飛ぶと、目的地によっては機内の窓から三浦半島の付け根にある私の家がよく見える。自宅の真上を飛ぶ路線もあるようだ。今日は自宅の屋上から、頭の真上を飛行機が飛んでいくのを見ていた。飛行機の窓からもう一人の自分が見下ろしているような気がした。美しい秋の空。

Barcelona for the second time this year. And after a year’s absence, I’m back in this city.
This is the global centre of the Fab City. The data-in, data-out social production model is a pioneering experimental urban model of ‘Marxist deconstruction’ and ‘decommunism’ that has attracted much interest in recent years. Research into urban innovation continues.
By the way, my Leica M6 has been sent to a factory in Germany for a second overhaul. This time its partner is the M4 after 20 years, but the design is excellent. Exposure is taken by intuition. (The photos here were taken with an iphone.)
